Wolf Against Night Sky (SOLD)

Ink & gesso on wood, 2019

I painted this with a unique method: dry-brushing gesso onto wood, & then using colored acrylic ink over that. I came up with this method because I always loved doing watercolor paintings wanted a bolder, more vibrant look. I referenced all elements from separate pictures of wolves, moons, night skies, and mountains.
